Rhody Websites is a line of business of Own The Box Marketing LLC, alongside Rhody Reviews and the Rhody Showcase. Three lines, one job: turning a stranger searching on their phone into a paying customer.
Being seen isn’t the goal. Being chosen is. Take any leg away and the customer looks at you, hesitates, and calls somebody else — which is the single most common reason a business spends money on marketing and sees nothing come back.
For years the standard deal was: charge five thousand dollars up front, hand over a login, and disappear. Two years later the site is stale, the phone number on it’s wrong, and Google has quietly stopped showing that business to anyone.
The website was never the problem. Nobody wakes up wanting to buy a website. They want more customers.
So we stopped selling websites. We build the site at no charge and get paid for the work that brings in customers: the Google profile, the reviews, and pages that reach every town you drive to.
That changes who carries the risk. Charge five thousand up front and we get paid whether it worked or not. Give the site away and bill every 4 weeks, and we keep a client only as long as the customers do. We'd rather be on that side of it.
It also means we're selective. We only take on businesses where we're confident this will work. A client who isn't getting customers doesn't stay one, and that's bad for both of us.
I like local businesses. The ones where the owner still answers the phone, knows the regulars by name, and does the work themselves. I have watched too many get sold marketing that looked impressive and produced nothing they could point to.
That's the whole reason this exists. Every dollar should trace back to something that happened: a call, a booking, a new patient, somebody through the door. Anything that can't be traced to a result doesn't get sold here.
It's a small shop, and it's run like one. Straight answers, and work you can trace to a result.
All three are lines of business under Own The Box Marketing LLC, each sold on its own. Together they cover getting found, getting chosen, and reaching the people who aren't searching yet.
A five-minute video showing what a customer sees when they look you up, and the reasons they're choosing somebody else. No call required.
